Earl,

I thought you were stylin' when you wore the pink Appleseed T-shirt. This takes Appleseed fashion to a whole new level.

I asked for it in the size that makes be look fine, a size smaller would have been too sad. It is a forgiving shirt, loud and distracting but still manly and on message. I like it better than the pink Appleseed t-shirts, but then the Red Instructor polos are good for working an event. This one would look loud and proud at the NRA Convention or at a CMP shoot. :cool2:

VERY NICE ~  Looks especially good with the black sleeved shirt under it too!

The Sponsors were a great idea...  "Whittemore's Genuine Wartime Collectables"... gotta love it  >:D

When these were conceptualized we didn't have "real" sponsors. The idea to come up with historically-based pseudo-sponsors was put into place to give us a legitimate look while simultaneously providing a 7th Step opportunity. The Whittemore sponsor was 100% Melissa. Not only did she do an outstanding job on ALL the design work for these shirts she created some of the content as well. She's fabulous to work with and if anyone needs logos, designs, etc., I highly recommend her and her business, Wingspan Graphics.

As for our "real" sponsors, our industry team targeted several companies during the NRAAM for co-branding and merchandising to secure monetary sponsorship so we could actually divvy out these shirts to every single AS volunteer - free of charge - but despite interest from the industry there was no approval from Appleseed.

I've personally followed up on this in the last few weeks and, again, no response. It's like we don't want sponsors. In the mean time we'll have to pay for our own promotional attire.

POF USA.

They have a full-size cardboard standup of this dude at trade shows. It's pretty cool. Me & GoldFish posed for a picture with him.

POF is a great company, and I have often thought about their "minuteman" logo as well.

I am a POF owner, very pricey rifle, BUT, they are very accurate and reliable.

Earle, where in WA state?  I am still trying to 7th step several Whidbey Island friends.

Hi Navybowhunter,  We have a shoot scheduled for April 18th and 19th right on Whidbey Island. We will be out at Central Whidbey Sportsman's in Coupeville. Would love to see some local folks there this year. My husband and I are the club coordinators,  so if your friends have any questions feel free to send them our way.
