This was the First Event hosted, by The Northern Dutchess Rod and Gun Club!
Four Students joined us on Saturday, for what seemed to be an Aqua-Seed,
(maybe someone could plan a patch) ::)
Steady cold rain made things difficult on students, but they took it in stride!
Sundays weather was much better!
Great Fall weather, even helped us add an additional student on Sunday!
My Instructor crew worked very hard to make this a Great Event
Thanks to Spock951, longrange, and kimbers O0
Students did a Great Job as well!
Gunny requalified with a 245 :---, and a cleared Red Coat!
Shari, worked hard throughout the weekend, to refine skills and shrink groups. :~
Father and daughter Joe and Jocelyn, kept us on our toes, left eye dominance, right handed, now left handed, with a right handed bolt action? Kimbers pink Ruger to the Rescue! :~
Remember its a Sling!! , straps go on backpacks ::)
Ron chipped away all weekend with his bolt action , always willing to help a neighbor ( with a few extra holes in their target), all kidding aside Ron did some fine shooting, and is creeping up on that elusive 210. :---
Jan continued to work hard throughout the weekend! Despite getting soaked, and some equipment issues, her spirit was not dampened, and she assured us we would be seeing her at our next event O0
The Students and Instructors, really made this a Great Event! Even with Saturday being a washout, we all still had Alot of fun and some laughs!
Last, but not least, I want to thank Sue and Dennis, for their hard work in the Kitchen, from egg sandwiches, to chicken stew, brownies and peanut butter cookies, WOW the food was Great!
Great job by all! O0
Thanks go out to The Northern Dutchess Rod and Gun Club for Hosting this Event and to the Shooters and Instructors who hung in there on wet Saturday.
Congrats !
It rained almost all day Saturday, but the shooters showed great persistance despite being soaking wet! We huddled under the pop-up tents as much as possible to try to stay dry, but in the end, a little water never deters a RIFLEMAN!
