Returning to Bald Knob, AR is like seeing a good friend after it's been too long. Arkansas people love their Liberty and aren't afraid to show it. 10 Patriots shared this weekend with some of the finest Appleseed Instructors around and became yet again "A Family in the South".
I've some pictures and will add a few notes, but as Quinncannon would say "Riigghhtt - let's do this AAR folks." ;D

Had a great time and learned a lot. Will use what the instructors taught me and apply and my next Appleseed. Kevin is so pumped, he can't wait for the next one. Thanks again for coming down to Arkansas! p.s.- Love the pen!
Thank you, Mutti, Rifles n Reins and KD Cat for your dedication, enthusiasm and professionalism you displayed once again at Bald knob!
I saw plenty of enthusiasm with the shooters as well, all improved and were knocking on the "Rifleman's door"!
Hey! Good to see so many responses already. Awesome......
You know what else is awesome? Arkansas Instructor Corp. I had the pleasure of working with Quinncanon, and meeting the famous SticksnStones. Also, I was there to witness the new addition of an Instructor. HUZZAH!!!
And where would we be without the attendees? Thank you all for coming out to spend a beautiful weekend with us. And bringing along family. It was awesome to see familiar faces.
Taniel, you were soooooo close. I'm glad you found the loose scope on Saturday, that definitely improved your scores on Sunday. I hope to meet with you again, don't forget to bring along a highlighter.
Mrs. K, thank you for coming out to shoot with us again. I saw definite improvement since your last shoot. Keep up the dry practicing.
Chip, if not for the crossfire, I'm sure you would have made Rifleman. I'm sorry you could not come back Sunday, we missed you.
Edith, that was an awesome rifle you brought out Saturday. It was a blast to meet you. Hope to do so again.
Chris, you were the prime example of persistence this weekend. Every possible probable thing that could have happened to your sighting system, did. Thank you for coming back Sunday and keep up the positive attitude.
Rob, you were very, very, close to the Rifleman's score. Keep up the good work. I wish you could have had a chance to try your hand at KD in the afternoon.
John, thank you for attending again, and bringing along another person to experience Appleseed. I hope you keep coming back.
Jacob, aka, Jared, Jason..... You rocked at KD. And you were an excellent spotter. Hope to see you again.
Kevin, congratulations on achieving Rifleman. I'm glad you enjoyed KD, and you learned an important lesson.....always make sure you have the scope cover off..........
Terry, congratulations on making Rifleman and on becoming Arkansas newest IIT..... Huzzah! I cannot wait to work with you again.
I have some epic pictures of our KD line, enjoy.

KD was still fun, right?! :)
Didn't put description with each photo, but here are some that are a little different. What a great group of attendees. Congrats to our new riflemen. There were several that came so close and I am sure they will try to get that coveted patch. Definitely proud of them all, as they all improved greatly. Also congrats to our new Orange hat and blue hat.
Quincannon was a pleasure as usual. Mutti, KD Kat and RiflesnReins made for a special weekend. These ladies know their stuff. Mutti is definatly professional, organized and knows her stuff solid. Now the two that thoroughly impressed us all. KD Kat and RiflesnReins were rock stars and blew my mind with their knowledge, intelligence and manners. At first glance you see too slim young girls that couldn't teach someone how to shoot or even history. Ha you sure would be fooled to think that they couldn't stand up to the best of the instructors. Mutti that's parenting done right
Oh yeah! KD was tons of fun! Especially watching you sink shots at 400 with no scope. Very impressive, sir. Wish I coulda shot you gun though!

Let's meet up sometime and I'll bring along an extra M14 for you to shoot or even an M1 Garand! :)
As always Jacob and I had a great time. Learned a lot, meet some great people and improved our shooting skills. KD was a fun addition to the other Appleseeds I have been too.
Glad to be joining the team, looks like I have lots of studying ahead. I really enjoyed trying to help others work on their shooting skills, but my limited teaching abilities were dwarfed by the team from Illinois. The hard work they put in helping others was amazing as was their knowledge.
All of the Attendees were superior in their application of the previous skills from other Appleseeds and the fine reinforcement by the entire Instructor Crew.
For those of you with equipment issues (scopes falling off, rear sight falling off, Front sight wobble, and crosshairs rotation while the scope as securely attached) - the score is well within reach. Keep the "Software (you)" sharp and work on the "Hardware (rifle) issues before the next event.
Also - the upcoming KD in Cosmo, Mississippi is just a few weeks away - Dond is an endless resource of knowledge - do not let this opportunity pass you by.

I am going to try to fit the KD AQT at Como in to my schedule! I have shot in a match there a couple of years ago.
Looks like a great weekend. Congrats to the rifleman, orange hat and blue hat. To everyone that attended, remember to tell your friends and your friends friend and so on. Lets get AR back up and going to learn long forgotten heritage and marksmanship and make some fun memories to look back on. Check out and like the Arkansas Face book page. It's active and up to date: https://www.facebook.com/ProjectAppleseedArkansas (https://www.facebook.com/ProjectAppleseedArkansas)
Hello all!
Wow what a amazing group of Attendees! I have never seen a group absorb instruction and progress so quickly!
Congratulations to Mr. K for shooting rifleman on your first AQT, Absolutely amazing. -:) Thank you Mr. Arceagle for coming back, shooting rifleman and stepping up to take the orange hat. O0 Congratulations Mrs. E for stepping up and taking the blue hat, blue is definitely your color ..:..

Appleseed Bald Knob was awesome! The leaders were well prepared and eager to instruct in marksmanship and our history. And all those attending seemed to have very teachable attitudes and the desire to enjoy the good company. The Sabo girls were a delight. So respectful and capable in their own right
