The Good: Fred taught an inspiring weekend of known distance to 8 instructors, correction 9, the cadre from Maryland and Virgina (only 2 from NC) were very enthusiastic and receptive to information and instruction provided by Fred. Both days were started off with cold bore shots on the Red coat tile for Morgans crew. Both days the M1 Garands ruled the roost, that's southern farm jargon for they owned it. We got a friendly rivalry between our sole NC Army airborne grunt and the MD and VA Navy squids, it was a lot of fun and good spirited friendship. 4 instructors qualified on the KD range out to 400 yards, driving home what they've learned and what they teach really works, their instruction at future Appleseeds will be more enthusiastic and energized with experience.
Here is a link to some pictures that were taken at the Home Range. Wish I could have taken more, it was some busy days. They are set to "public" on my Google Drive, so....if someone smarter with computers than I can download them and embed them in this message so they are easier to see, feel free to do so.

I personally like the "Epic" pose, looking up as the heavens part!

FRED DEMO'ED WHY WE TEACH AT 25 YDS. BY MAKING EVERYONE WALK TO 400 YDS. TO CHECK TARGETS, IT TURNS INTO THE RIFLESMANS HALF MILE REAL QUICK.
WHATA BUNCH OF HAMS.......BUT GREAT PEOPLE, GREAT SEEDERS, AND SOME OF THEM CAN SHOOT! IT WAS ONE OF THE BEST WEEKENDS
LOL KK!
Man, I wish I was on that range now. It was so peaceful there, coyotes calling in the evening and all.
I'll be back again, that is for sure. Next time will be even better, cause I know where to park to get my camper level now. That did take us a bit to figure out, you should have been there for that, would have been a good video (comedy).
Recommend everyone that can, come visit the homerange. You will not be disappointed...., sore maybe, worn out, and hopefully a little smarter for the experience. I know I am.
