What GORGEOUS weather we had in Dalton this weekend!! High seventies, clear sunny skies, and virtually no wind, with stunning foliage as the backdrop.
The Dalton Gang Shooting Club graciously hosted us for another excellent event. Our hosts, Don and Nancy, are the finest folks you will ever meet, and once again went out of their way to make everything tremendously smooth and enjoyable for us. They expanded the camping area at the range this summer as well, and welcome us to camp on site....which would make it worth going in and of itself.
The group of seven shooters worked smoothly together, and we were able to cover a lot of ground over the course of the weekend. Five repeat Appleseed students, and two new ones that we are already excited to see again. I was excited to see dramatic progress from you folks over the weekend, and am proud of the dedication and good humor that everyone showed throughout the past two days. Until your next event, practice practice practice!! Dry fire as much as you can, do "shooters yoga" to work your positions, and get back on the line with us at the next couple events coming right up!
Also, THANK YOU again to everyone for all your help setting up, breaking down, and working as a team with me. It's great students that keep our morale high as instructors, and keep us doing what we love to do.
