Title: Manheim, PA - 2014 Sep 20-21

What a wonderful weekend for an Appleseed Event!  The weekend opened with the final rays of the waning Summer sun warming Autumn's brisk dawn chill and burning away the morning fog.  Love this time of year with the leaves about to change color, collaging the roadside trees with earthy tones of yellow, orange and red...

Ok, ok, before I get all 'literary' on y'all...

Manheim had a cozy 6 brand new Appleseeders attend the latest event held at the fine Elstonville Sportsmen's Association Range, almost all new to the use of a rifle.  While not so good for 'business', there is something to be said about smaller events like this, and while we were not able to turn out any new Riflemen, I can say without as doubt the marksmanship improved tremendously over the weekend.  Almost all the participants went from novice shooters to punching holes in tiny black squares, or at least darn near so, a few well within striking range of earning a Rifleman patch.  Phili was well represented as all shooters were either living in Phili or hailed from there in the not-too-distant past, and with the cheerful and gregarious comradery felt at this event, I can see why they call Phili the 'City of Brotherly Love'.

Linda, Anthony, Brian, Sonny, Eric and Jim Guido; hope to see you all back soon!  Pics to follow!
