What a great event we had at Big Piney Sportsman's Club in Houston, MO!
Nice weather and a great bunch of shooters made the weekend fly by. Please post comments and/or pictures of the weekend. I will post more details and pictures as time permits!

Another great event at Big Piney. The range we are on keeps getting better. We actually had grass this time. Now they are going to be putting carports, and electric up there soon. ^:)^
Sat. started a little iffy on rain, we did get some but not enough to keep 8 shooters from coming. Three from Kansas City. All the shooters did well, and one even came forth and new what he was about. Congrats Scott. Don't think to long about that orange hat though. Clinton, I hope you put ice on that shoulder when you got home. Shooting that Garand took a toll on it that's for sure. Brad, Jeff, Susan, Johnathan, Dan, Steve remember to practice everything you learned this weekend and attend another shoot so you can achieve that rifleman patch, and also to help us keep the story of Liberty burning bright, brighter than it's ever been. Look forward to our December shoot.
I didn't even get my camera out on Saturday, and only got a few pictures on Sunday. Here they are...

My wife Susan and I had a great time at this event. We learned not only a great deal of specific, practical marksmanship information, but also gained a greater appreciation for the character of the early patriots, their skills, and their sacrifices to provide us the liberty we are trying to hold on to today.
We also confirmed that driving a desk for a living isn't a great way to stay in shape - really got stretched out in that prone position!
Much appreciation to 209Ken, Connibear, Ozark Settler, and Iron Ty for not only their patience and knowledge, but for generously giving their time to spread marksmanship and a greater understanding of our heritage.
