Summer was certainly still around for this weekend. While the temps didn't make it to 100 it was still in the upper 90's and plenty toasty.
5 Americans came out to learn and hear the stories. 2 were returning Appleseeders, Gilbert and Truman. It was great to see them and welcome new shooters.
We did the safety briefing and the first red coat then turned on the fount of teaching. It's always great to see students take what we are teaching and put it to good use causing groups to shrink.
A break for lunch and the strikes, well done by the instructors telling them.
Back to the line for more instruction and a couple AQT's. No rifleman scores, but some nice progress made.
Ending the day with a final red coat.
Sunday brought 3 shooters back. Truman was not feeling well (hope you're better!) but Gilbert, John and Kathryn came back to give it another go.
A break for lunch and the Dangerous Old Men and Determined, but Dangerous Women.
Unfortunately, John and Kathryn had to leave for a long drive back home. Gil and a few instructors took to the line for a bit of trigger time.
Hope to see you all at another shoot soon.
Thank you to all my instructors for coming out and working hard as usual. It was great to see you all.
See you next time!
Laurie
