Whoo-ee it was hot and muggy both days with lots of eating dirt and sweating bore solvent. Lots of pics and info to come.
Supposedly, the temps only got to 90. But in the sun, I was fading fast. I had to bail after the 2nd AQT on Sunday.
Tom, I appreciate you and the other instructors for putting on a great shoot. Hope I'll see you at another one soon.

Saturday was pretty muggy. We got a few breezes, but it was little relief. Congrats to our two new Riflemen and to the four youngsters who stuck it out did the hard work all day.

Yeah, we were all sweating it out this weekend in Tulsa. We had a great group of shooters that stuck with us nonetheless and never complained once. Congratulations new Riflemen that made it on Saturday. I was glad to see quite a few youngsters at this event, it's encouraging to see the heritage being passed on to posterity. We took a couple shooters on Sunday to the KD range to bang on some steel with their center fires at 100-300 yds. A good time was had by all.
Shooters accepted corrections well, line was made safe.
All shooters received instructions well, while wiping sweat and swatting at gnats.
9 yr old Anna shot a Riflemans score using a box of ear plugs as a rest. Keep it up , Anna!
A beating sun, gnats flying in your face, sweat burning your eyes, hot brass bouncing off you and your rifle, instructors yelling out commands...it doesn't get much better than this. All shooters persisted all day Saturday.
There was (1) head shot on the Saturday morning Redcoats; there were (10) head shots on the Redcoats Saturday evening. A thousand-fold improvement! Yaaay- Heee!
Congratulaions to Riflemen Leslie and Greg.
This sling was found at the west end of the firing line Sunday evening. It will reside in my shoot bag and be at all future events, unless I am contacted by its owner.
