It's been over three months since I got on the forums here...WOW! Running a range is pretty time consuming, and the additional responsibilities with Second Call Defense have really consumed a LOT of my time. Glad Corvette comes out to visit me once in a while ;)
Anyway, 6th annual Youth Shoot out here at Dillon second weekend of Sept. as usual...if anyone can help out it would be greatly appreciated. I've created an email communications list for volunteers, and we have just started using it to help plan and organize this years event. If you are interested in helping out at all, just ask me to add your email to our list.
Growth over the past 3 yrs since Buckeye started helping us out with the funding has been exponential! This year the Blackhand Raiders (our SASS or Cowboy Action Shooting club) will be out on Sunday morning to run the more experienced youth who have met our requirements for participating in handgun shooting through a wild West 3 gun match.
As usual, camping on site is free to participants and volunteers. We will be having an organizational meeting here at the range towards the end of August. As soon as the date is confirmed, I will post it here.

You mean to tell me funding from outside organizations has helped your program grow?
I'll check my schedule and see if I'm free. I'd love to see, first-hand, how stuff like this works. Perhaps maybe someday we can do that too.
