Post by: StevenK on June 23, 2014, 08:50:33 PM
ONce again we had a great shoot at Audobon.
We had Eight Shooters, four line AS personell
Weather was high 80s with clear skies
SteveK was testing for Shoot Boss SBIT3 and passed the test. StevenK was promoted Sunday by the SBIC LPRGCFrank.
Stella and Natalie, our youth shooters, kept attentive and safe all weekend.
All groups on target became smaller and smaller - Three shooters are getting close to Rifleman scores.  All shooters improved their technique and the redcoat MER grew further among all members of the group.
All shooters followed the SB water drills and drank lots of water (we went through a whole case and more) and there were no heat situations/injuries.
One rifle malfunctioned (Extractor pin) but was replaced and the shooter drove on.
All shooters kept covered in sunblock.
Round Count 287, Five AQTs, four red coats, 30 sighters w/Ball and Dummy
Shooters were up-beat and attentive through the weekend as shown by the photographs at this link.

A Facebook post from one of our shooters: Sun ยท
It was a GREAT time today at Appleseed. 3 Grandsons and my son shot. Everyone shot well but Cam was really came through his shooting was fantastic. Cam was really on his game today with his 22. Tomorrow is where everything they were taught will be put to the test. I can't say enough about Appleseed. If you think you are a good shot Appleseed will make you a better shot.
