At 96 we were close to Inferno Seed weather but hey at least it was also humid. It was a great weekend to Appleseed several new to rifle shooting made great progress. Ramon worked his bolt gun to good effect. Danielle returned and showed she hadn't forgotten the basics.
Thanks to the trusty staff of Lucky Lori, AdobeWallsOfFla, Sean shoot here, Autococker07 and the hard working Silverbullet the shoot ran well.
This was my first Appleseed and it certainly won't be my last. The techniques we learned, most notably sling support and npoa, had profound effects on my ability to put hits on paper.
The heat was oppressive but we managed to keep cool with the help of Engineer shooting and Lucky Lori, who graciously provided us with refreshments and a spread fit for royalty at lunch time! Even after having lost my temper at several inadequate AQT's, the instructors' military-grade professionalism and advice helped me keep my head in the game and improve my score to that of a sharpshooter ;D.
Though I won't be able to return this Friday, my trusty CZ452 and I will definitely be participating in another FL Appleseed to earn that purple patch. Thank you so much to all the instructors mentioned in the OP as well as to those I shared the line with, I'm looking forward to the pictures (if any) of the event.
Lastly, I got a five-finger discount on a Leatherman micra, thinking it was my own. If the owner could PM me their address, I'll happily send it up with my apologies.

What a GREAT shoot with a large field of attentive, motivated, hard working, listening students. It was my pleasure to come out and help work with everyone. Thanks to all the instructors who came out, some traveling 3 hours, who gave their time and weekend for a great event. Lets do it again next month !!
