The 17th was a beautiful day for a shoot ,the sun was out and the temperature was mild. We had a small turn out but that didn't stop the fun. Lot's of milsurp rifles shooting out to 500 yards ,what could be better? We have started to mix up the positions to make the shoots more of a challenge by only shooting one stage prone and the rest from less stable positions. We hope to include a pistol stage in the next field shoot. this will involve picking a loaded pistol up from a barrel and engaging targets to get to your rifle so you can engage the distant targets with in a set amount of time. We will still use the low round count course of fire that we have now.
