What a great patriot day shoot. 11 shooters made the trek out. We managed to get ALL the instruction done in one day. Shooters were great and improved every round that went down range. Very intelligent questions that were thoughtful during the day. At 1300 the memorial volley went well. There were 7 military officers there so it seemed like real military shoot.
Pink princess is back after maternity leave. YEAH
She had alot of fun and worked so well with one of the shooters. Dad was very impressed with the one on one.
A few AQTs were done before the lightening came in.
The shoot was called early because of the danger from the lightening. It was on top of us and we were way to close to alot of metal.
All in all it was a great day . Shooters said they liked the instruction and how appleseed is done. There were a few repeaters because they enjoyed AS so much.
Thanks to the instructors and shooters for a wonderful day
Many thanks to Deb, Brian and Crystal (sp?) for a great Patriot's Day shoot at the Sierra Vista range. My son's girlfriend didn't know what she was getting into but she hung on until she just couldn't hold her head up anymore! A very large thank you to Crystal who took her under wing and taught her how to shoot her Ruger. She will be back!
Wish we could have done a couple more AQT's but the thunder gods said we'd had enough fun for one day! My score went down, Kyle's went up and Estephanie is firmly on paper.
