I think our forefathers would be proud! After a week of rain, lightning and thunder, 15 patriots came to our range to celebrate their history and learn the traditions of their forefathers. For most, it was their first step. They came with guns they had borrowed, just purchased, or rarely shot.
They skies held, we were blessed with cool wind, and a handful of Americans reconnected with the history and traditions of their forefathers.
We fired a salute to those who died on April 19th. We also set up an antique locomotive bell and tolled it as we called out the names of those who died.
No new riflemen joined the ranks, but four are knocking on the door. ALL the shooters showed enormous improvement, and a fire was kindled in many.
Photos to come....
I would like to say a big thank you to all the instructors, Roy, Tom, Heidi, Ivan, Michael, Gary and Dennis (I hope I got everyone). This was my second Appleseed at Palm Bay and I must say that both were outstanding. The spirit of patriotism and comradery is truly amazing and unique.
I've just signed up for the June event in Hollywood since it is only 20 minutes from my home, but I'll certainly be back in Palm Bay before long. Hopefully I can add 3 more points to my score so I can attend the KD shoot in August.
Thanks Again,
- Jeff

Jeff, for what I saw on Saturday, you will not be in the bubble for long! Hope to share the KD firing line with you in August!
This was my fist Apple Seed and I was truly amazed at the dedication and patients the Instructors shared with us for this event.
I would recommend this to anyone that has been shooting for years or wanting to learn. I walked away with a lot of new tools in
the tool box and will continue to use for years to come. We learned about our forefather's and their sacrifices and what it means to truly be a American.
Thank you to all the Instructors and what each of you bring to this experience !
James
