Title: River Falls WI 4-19-14 AAR
Post by: martin on April 20, 2014, 03:15:20 PM

There is no doubt that everyone was worried about the weather. We have had a long and hard winter. At the River Falls Sportsman Club, 9 Patriot showed up to learn traditional rifle marksmanship and to hear about their history. The day started cold and windy but warmed up, the wind died down and we had a great event. We even managed to dodge the rain.
Congratulations to our first Rifleman this season, Parker and also congrats to Chase for requalifying. We would also like to say thanks to C.J. for taking an Orange Hat.

Special thanks to the instructor crew, RustyRed, miara, BuckShot, Calamity Jenn, and Romeo Bravo Tango. Good Job!

Thank You also to Belinda for having the club open and the coffee on. You Rock!

Martin, et.al.

I wanted to say thank you for a very enjoyable day.  I had a great time and so did the young man I brought to the class.

I have a few comments and observations if I may..  My professional background is 38 years as a LEO.  For 36 of those I have been a firearms instructor teaching basic recruit, in-service and tactical officers firearms skills.  My observation is that your class was top notch marksmanship instruction in a very relaxed, informal, yet very professional manner.  I would recommend attendance at an Appleseed event without hesitation.

I would also like to say KUDOS to the Instructor Cadre that assisted the shooters.  They were both helpful and professional in their performance.

In addition I would like to complement everyone on the safe range.  The young man that accompanied me learned a lot from the expireance.    Including but not limited to safe range operation, safety, marksmanship, and what an organized shoot is meant to look like.

Just wanted to say thanks for a Job Well Done!  ^:)^
