Title: An unusual solution to cross eye dominance
Post by: 9mm4545 on April 17, 2014, 10:18:05 AM
Never seen one of these in the field. Not sure I want to, but this is one way of solving a right handed shooter's problem with left eye dominance: http://ultimak.com/pic36.htm (http://ultimak.com/pic36.htm)

I have also seen stocks made with a bend in them so the entire action is offset to to the left for a right hand/left eyed shooter. It gets rid of the aiming error, but I can only assume recoil would be strange.

That rifle will have the same problem that the M1C and M1D have and that is you can only zero at one range. As the target moves closer or farther away you start impacting to the right or left of your aiming point.
