Everyone worked hard and we the instructor corp were impressed. With so many first timers to boot! You all honored our forefathers sacrificed with your own and we thank you for it.

Although we could only make it the first day we had such a great time learning the history of April 19 and getting our first introduction to what Appleseed is all about. We met some great folks, sang the safety song on the way home and are really looking forward to our next Appleseed. Today we reviewed our shots and saw our improvements from morning to evening which is still amazing that we could learn and improve that much in one day. Outstanding instructors and event!

I had a great weekend. And learned a lot. Being a self taught shooter it was great getting instruction.
I had some questions. The range I.normally go to has a 50 yard station. If I blow up the targets to double the size. Would it be more less the same as to what we were shooting this weekend. Also you guys mentioned a book where you guys got most of the history, does some one have the name of the book. The third is I by accident placed the magazine's in my pocket I noticed this late last night. I live west of gurnee. I am more than happy to drive out and drop them off. Thanks again, it was a great time

Hello everyone:

I had a great time as well.  It was great to get so much personalized instruction.  I can't wait to get back out and continue practicing these important skills.  I'll be trying some of them out on Turkeys in a couple of weeks.  Probably won't be in the prone position and I'll be throwing more lead with each squeeze of the trigger.   O0

Thanks to all!

Certainly can't beat the personalized instruction we had the second day.  Thanks to everybody for helping me work through the issues I was having getting good groups and working on NPOA.  Can't wait for the next (hopefully warmer and drier) Appleseed.

What a weekend!  The weather was challenging.  We ran the whole spectrum of wind, cold, fog, rain, sun...  the only thing we were missing was snow!  Despite this, we had students show up and learn some marksmanship and our shared heritage.  What a blast!  Kudos to the students for their perseverance.

Congrats to my daughter Bearcub for shooting rifleman!!!!!!!  I am very proud of her.  The clan now sports 3 rifleman in our ranks.  She also took an orange hat.  Thanks for stepping up!

Also, thanks to all the instructors.  You guys are the best.  I learn so much from you all each time we are together.  Thanks for taking such an active interest in my learning and growing as an instructor.  Seriously...  thanks a million.

Here are some pics from the weekend.
