Check this out, Iowa should look into it if they have not yet.
.22 ammo available for 17 and under youth marksmanship.

Has Iowa been able to get in on the Youth Ammo?  I have waivers signed for two teenage girls to attend the Ames event and would like for them to be able to take advantage of this if is available. 

Let me know what the logistics are on getting some for them if it is available.

Yes, Iowa was able to get ammo.
I have a small amount of it.  We will make sure
We will have it at Ames for your 2 shooters.
This ammo is available to youth to use while at Appleseed
at a very reasonable price.
We have some Blazer and Federal.
Others who are interested should also ask ahead of time
