What fun weekend at Ramseur... 10 fine people showed up on Saturday morning to hear some pretty cool stories and improve their marksmanship skills. 6 of them were able to make it back on Sunday and we even ended up with a new rifleman / orange hat. Several shooters took the opportunity to get behind a M1 Garand on Sunday and see firsthand what a WWII battle rifle feels like while shooting at some steel at 200 yards... big smiles all around. I'll post more details later, but wanted to get this out there as I know there are some pictures floating around... so feel free to post them up.
Sounds like a great weekend! Congratulations to Grathlong on his Redhat! Great to see another Orange Hat step up to help bail! Thank you and Huzzah!
Oh yeah ,

It was a great weekend, we had four youngsters on the line. They were the safest and well mannered bunch of kids I've ever seen. Their enthusiasm was infectious. One young man tried his hand with M-1 Garand and 200 yards, after the first 2 hits on the metal a smile appeared that looked like it would last at least a week. Congrats to Patrick for shooting rifleman and taking an Orange hat. I'm sure his 2 sons will follow in his foot steps. HUZZAH!!
Thanks for a great weekend. The boys are eager to get back there asap. And I'm looking forward to coming back to start learning to be an instructor. Should be another great set of challenges.
Can you guys see this folder?

I can't see it. The link brings me to my own google drive (which I didn't know I had, by the way--learn something new every day). I suspect if I were more competent I could figure out how to see your file, but I can't. I still live in about 1986, technology-wise.
Apart from occasionally posting on internet forums. :)
