On 1/28 Winchester published a recall notice for M-22 .22LR ammo with symbol number S22LRT and lot numbers GD42L and GD52L. Apparently some rounds have double powder charges.

I bought a 1K box in the fall that remains unopened, but it's a different lot number.
I'm surprised any Appleseeders have this stuff left since it was selling for $.20/rd last year. Most of mine magically turned into centerfire ammo. :---
Thanks! I'm printing this and keeping a copy in my SB kit.

I just got 2000 rounds of that for $100 or $0.05 per round. Thanks for posting this, but mine is not on the recall list.
Just my $0.02: For as much .22 LR as gets used at an Appleseed, I think this recall should be listed in the "Announcements" section for all Appleseeders. Not everyone who comes to these events is an avid shooter and they could be sitting on a box or two of this.
