..And, so it has been done, yet another year gone bye, and on to the next. They say time does not wait for anyone but keeps on going. If you miss the bus well hell, then you walk. So has time been kind to you or has it been a bit obnoxious? Has time been kind to our country or has it eroded our fortress away in the way an ocean wave beats down upon the rocky coast, crashing wave upon crashing wave till the jagged edges of liberty and freedom are worn down. Worn down into a submissive nonthreatening smooth surface that can and will be walked upon by the bare feet of oppression and tyranny. Those filthy bare feet shall trample upon the now non protected surface and have their dance with the devil. The once robust and sharp rocks that stood up to the mighty ocean and all intruders to her shores are withering down slowly but surely. Unless we awake....
..Another DOM and I are working with our Shoot Bosses and Instructors in building the 2014 calendar in so that we can provide the New York State Citizens some refuge from the storm. Project Appleseed is the answer. Project Appleseed is part of the greater solution. Project Appleseed shall provide History Heritage & Rifle Marksmanship so that we can revitalize our Constitutional Republic through its Citizens in Liberty..
..Let us make this year, 2014 a great year for Project Appleseed. Let us book the shoots, let us fill the lines, help us to work the shoots, help us spread the word that we are here to stay and we are dug in deep. We will not quit nor falter till our job is done and Liberty is restored. That is why we live, so that others can know the truth, for it is in giving that we receive. So let us give to our Republic, give back to her all she has given since her birth on April 19th 1775..

lol - those waves have been crashing down with a vengeance already - and the year has just started. It makes me wonder what the rest of the year will bring. Interesting times.
However the waves have crashed down so hard that instead of wearing the jagged edges down, it has simply exposed new sharper edges. As they say - tread lightly.
How do a free people stay free? How did the American people even get free in the first place? You do know that America by design was created by people for people with the power to govern themselves. Though there are a few stipulations and requirements in order to take the idea and simple words off the page of a specific document and bring them to life in our world. How does a physically fit man keep himself in pristine shape? How did this man get into that good of shape to begin with? Being diligent in exercise and nutrition are both building blocks to mastering the physical body. A committed determination must be the driving force for success in achieving goals of such a high standard. No one can just sit on the couch and waste away and expect to become physically fit. Another example that you can relate to would be of a master musician that plays jazz guitar. Was this man born playing at that high level of musicianship, or did he wake up one day in adulthood and decide to start playing and become proficient without hard work? No not at all, that man worked very hard over a life's time studying and practicing, going through the ups and downs of progress with a profound awareness for perfection. That is how we achieve something good and keep it. So now more importantly I ask what it will take to make the point to a people that their Liberties, past, present and futures are being relied upon by their unvarying participation in government. Without participation there is no achievement. What will it take to combat the constant bombardment of distractions on a people in order to divert them from their inherent responsibilities to their government? Trying to get the attention of the American Citizen and inform him or her about the truth of our Nation and all that it implies is a daunting task. Project Appleseed has volunteered to take on that job. Project Appleseed has set into motion a program developed specifically in teaching the historic beginning of our Nation's birth. A Constitutional Republic supported by its body of Citizenry. All the questions above and the examples of success are attributed to personal responsibility. Now take that personal responsibility and add it to the collective group in order to secure the Republic's Liberties. That is what we need on a grand scale for the Republic's welfare. Please take this into account as we stand and watch yet another year go bye and the unfortunate steady erosion of the idea of America. They say that time does not wait for anyone but keeps on going. If you miss the bus well then you walk. Has the American Citizen missed the bus? How many buses have we missed and is the last bus quickly approaching? Will this be the last chance to ride the bus of Liberty? Has time been kind to us or has time been a bit obnoxious? Has time been kind to our Country or has it slowly and steadily eroded the ideals of America away by enacting unconstitutional legislation? The same way an ocean wave progressively beats down upon the rocky coast. Crashing wave upon crashing wave till the jagged edges of Liberty and Freedom that belong to a people of a great nation are worn down and eroded. Liberty and Freedom are worn down until all that is left is a submissive nonthreatening smooth surface that can and will be walked upon by the bare feet of oppression and tyranny. Those soiled bare feet of oppression and tyranny shall trample upon the now non protected surface, a bare people now exposed and helpless. These soiled bare feet now have their way and dance with the devil. The once robust sharp rocks protecting the shores of America have nearly all withered away and rendered her defenseless along with her people.
Project Appleseed Instructors have assembled the 2014 calendar of Project Appleseed events so that we can provide the New York State Citizens some refuge from the storm. It's good to see you back and doing well! Get er done! O0
Awesome stuff, Nick.
It is so unfortunate that the people, or, sheeple, have been lulled to sleep as a group by those enemies of freedom, especially those in control of the media, that could work WONDERS for the freedom of all men, but DON'T. This is the battle we face; waking up people. But, this awakening, will, for the most part, have to be done on a one on one basis. As we all know, most event attendees will say that they were personally invited to an Appleseed Event. It is what works best.
So, our work is cut out for us. We know what we need to do. We simply must not grow weary in doing good work; we know we will reap the benefits. And we must not take it personal when our message is not well received. The Lord told His disciples if their message was not well received, to shake the dirt off their sandals and move along to the next town.
Not to get religious on anyone, but those concepts are exactly what's appropriate for this cause, too. There are too many that need to hear the message to worry about each one that got away. Sometime in the future, in the NEAR future, no doubt, they will hear the message again, from another 'seeder. And, YOU will have planted the seed that another may harvest. Or, YOU may harvest that seed that was planted by another.
Just be courageously planting seeds.

..Project Appleseed..
April is a very special month to us Americans. One of the greatest events in mans governing history happened right here in America. Every American Citizen should know this tale for it is our collective heritage. So important was this event that it so changed the World. Up in the northeast corner of the contiguous 48 States generally known as New England. Before we had 50 States, before we were a Country, back in a time when subjects were expected to pay homage to a king very far away. There is much to tell, because there is much to know. The place and time are easy for me to remember because I am a Project Appleseed Instructor. I teach this very specific event all year round at Project Appleseed events. The place is Middlesex County Massachusetts, the time is April 19th 1775.
On the damp and chilly morning of April 18th 1775, a Mr Paul Revere was hard at work in his silver shop located in down town Boston. Paul Revere had a few trades under his belt for he was a man of action. Business was not so good this year as the appointed Honorable Royal Governor of Massachusetts General Thomas Gage had recently commandeered Boston harbor, and garrisoned the city with his standing army better known as the red coats or the regulars. This act of oppression and tyranny had brought Boston harbor into a kind of economic depression. A knock at the door and to Paul's surprise its a young boy with a message from a dear local friend, Doctor Joseph Warren. The message was that the regular army would march this night up to Middlesex County with orders to arrest John Hancock and Samuel Adams hiding in Lexington and also to confiscate the stored militia arms from Colonel Barrett's farm in Concord. The plan was supposed to be a well guarded secret but you all know how important intelligence is and the Wig Colonists supporting the cause of Liberty had reliable sources. At dusk Paul Revere and another rider William Dawes got ready to leave the city and alarm the country side on what was going to take place. You must understand that the country side was ready for action. After the French and Indian War around 1763, began the years of debate and protest between England and the Colonists. This tug of war would usher in incidents of distrust occurring and a change of ideas. The Colonists were wise and diligent in preparing for what ever might come. What ever might come to try and steel away the systems of self governing already instilled in a common sense, God loving, hard working and resilient people thriving in the country side for over a hundred years.
As Paul Revere and William Dawes alarmed the Middlesex County country side additional riders would leave each town and go on to the next, utmost of 72 alarm riders that famous night had rode. This planed and well thought out elaborate networking system was working very efficiently at spreading the news that night.
Revere and Dawes finally made it to Lexington in order to warn Hancock and Adams of the danger they were in. Knock, knock, knock at the door of the Reverend Jonas Clarke's house where the two were hiding out. The message was received and Hancock and Adams evaded to another location to safely hideout. At the same time Captain John Parker and the Lexington training band began to assemble on the Lexington green. You see the message was out that the regular army was coming to confiscate local militia munitions. The Powder Alarm episodes that took place three times in the months before had proven that General Gage and his regular army of red coat tyrants meant serious business. These were trying times for our Founders and their cause. No one knew what the out come would be. These men stood their ground in order to draw a line in the sand and parade themselves as free people, to proclaim that they would not be harassed and or oppressed by the king, parliament and their minions no more.
Colonel Smith headed the 800 men who left the HMS Somerset war ship docked at Boston harbor in their attempt to for fill General Gage's orders. These troops both light infantry and grenadiers were instructed to march in formation and in proper company order. A true sight to be seen traveling the planed out fifteen mile walk from Boston through Lexington in order to get to Concord. They departed Boston at early evening on the 18th and tried to travel through the cover of night. In hopes their surprise arrival would be on the morning of April 19th 1775. No such surprise would take place for this days events would shake the world and change the course of history like no other in modern times. By days end this would be the beginning of the American Revolutionary War, though either side did not know it just yet.
