I am starting this thread so all the people who took pictures at this shoot can post them and we can get feedback from those who attended.
I will post a more detailed account before the end of the weekend and I apologize for the delay in getting this opened, but my day-to-day life has kept me pretty busy since the shoot.
In summary, this shoot was more about Improvise, Adapt and Overcome than any shoot I have ever attended. 27 shooters signed up (oversold...), 4 children under 10, 4 more youth under 18.
Crowded onto a 90' x 90' action shooting bay on Saturday. Thankfully only 21 shooters showed up to shoot on Saturday. There simply was not room for 6 more on the firing line.
Steel Challenge event going on all around us. Pieces of copper jackets falling like snow on us. But we all persevered and by the end of Saturday Three (3!!!) new Rifleman had been revealed.
Buckets and buckets of rain Saturday night. By Saturday morning the range so flooded as to be unusable. So we moved to a different range and still started shooting by 9:30 a.m. with the 8 hardy souls who braved the threatening weather to return for Day Two. By the end of Sunday Gloria had shot the score almost every single time and stepped up to take an Orange Hat and Micah had completed and passed his PC for IIT3.
Great Event with great shooters and an excellent cast of instructors.
More later once some of the pictures taken by TomM1Thumb and others are posted.
