All,
Just got a chance to look at this month's American Rifleman magazine. Great long article on 4/19/75 and the aftermath in Boston by Stephen Halbrook. The article is an excerpt from his upcoming book on 'The Founders' Second Amendment'.
Goes into detail on arms confiscation within Boston proper following 4/19, some discrepancy with our canon but that is to be expected when plowing through 233 year old events.

What a pleasant surprise. Read the entire article & want to read the book. We need to leverage this now widely distributed and read article for AS advocacy.
History, that magnificent teacher, tells us that General Gage ended up with: a list of compliant gun owners, AND their thousands of guns- this all provided voluntarily by the formerly armed, who in turn did not receive the promised Boston exit passes.

Anybody seen the new issue of American Rifleman?
There's an interesting article on April 19, 1775 and another on the disarmament that occured in Boston after Lexington and Concord.
Wonder where they got the idea that real American Riflemen might be interested in the events that occured during this time period? ;D
wc, I think Hawk beat you to it: http://appleseedinfo.org/smf/index.php?topic=3881.0
The article is essentially a reprint of one done many years ago, being reprinted now as noted in anticipation of Mr. Halbrooks book release.
