Basically requiring the sale, modification, removal from city (ny, ny) or surrender of Rifles and shotguns capable of holding more than 5 rounds.

Yes - this despite the U.S. Supreme Court ruling not too long ago reaffirming that cities like Chicago and NYC are FORBIDDEN from banning classes of firearms.
