Title: Rotary Club Presentation
Post by: George Hacker on October 31, 2013, 01:41:38 PM
I went to an informational meeting last night on a political issue in my county.  A common friend hooked me up with a member of the local Rotary Club.  My friend talked about my involvement in Project Appleseed and how we teach rifle marksmanship and interesting stories about the American Revolution (my friend came to a Libertyseed on July 4th).  The Rotary Club fellow asked me to come speak Tuesday morning, November 26th (and I get a free breakfast in the bargain).

I will have have 30 minutes to share whatever I'd like.  You can guarantee they will hear about urgency, sacrifice, probably Isaac Davis, and April 19, 1775.  I will ask them a few questions (TPI) to help them see that they weren't given the straight story about the reasons for the American Revolution.  They will probably get a word or two from John Adams, Samuel Adams, and Patrick Henry.  They will also hear about Project Appleseed shooting events and Libertyseeds.  I will be sure to bring tri-folds with me to share.

The Rotary Club folks are interested and eager to have guest speakers.  We have some things to share with them.  If you haven't done so already, please give them a call and see if you can get a 1/2 hour to share a little liberty with them.  I can't wait until November 26th!
