How's that for an attention-grabbing headline??? And it's true!
On October 19th, I participated in the Louisiana State Highpower Rifle Championship. I was there to learn and have fun, as I knew that I would be outshot by the very serious and experienced competition. Despite my desire to generally stay out of the way and my natural disposition against standing out in a crowd, I appeared in my Appleseed Promo Shirt. It drew lots of attention. Even the Match Director commented that it was a "great looking shirt!" Photo here:

And, no, I didn't finish last. And, yes, what we teach really works. With no experience with iron sights beyond 300 yards (and very little of that), my first shot at 600 hit the X ring. Pretty cool!
Awesome! Way to represent Project Appleseed! ^:)^
Our shirts made their debut at our last Scoutseed in Raton, NM. They look very professional and are an absolute tribute to the heritage and marksmanship of our mission.
They are on the same playing field as other shirts worn by many professional operators and instructors.
We got tons of compliments and other instructors were envious. ;)
Thank slim for heading up the task force on these! O0
Excellent promotion and shooting. I have found that both get easier the more you get out and do them.
All Hail the MOHAWK! ;) for the great shirts.
Fantastic! Great looking shirt (and target!).

p.s. Why are you wearing a horse shoe around your neck? >:D

With a recent storm, it was a wet track?
