With the Public Service Announcement out of the way, this was a pretty fun event. Lost of energy & comradery throughout the event.
The weather was great for shooting, being a very mild 60s on Sat with the occasional light sprinkle, but clear & a bit warmer Sunday.
We turned out 4 Riflemen this weekend. Return 'seeder Bob re-qualified several times and we had 3 new join the ranks, Ben, Ward & Matt. Pics below.
Hope to see you all at future events!
Ben, out first new Rifleman with a 214. Congrats!
Ward was our next Rifleman with a score of 224. Nicely done!
Our last new Rifleman of the weekend, Matt with a score of 217. Well done!
What about Bob? Bob had been to several Appleseed events in the past shooting rimfire & wanted to qualify with his AR... he had done so repeatedly over the weekend proving once the fundamentals are acquired, the rifle really doesn't matter. Nice job, Bob!
Andy, a regular who pops in on Sunday afternoons snagged our last PA 1st Rifles patch for cleaning the Sunday eve Redcoat. Congrats!
Last, but not least, our Posterity. Dawson receiving the William Diamond youth patch. Thanks for coming out, Dawson.
Misc pics. Feel free to post your own!
Thanks, all for coming out.
Hope to see you again on the Appleseed trail.
I had a great time. Great instruction, great people there, great facilities at the club, great improvement.
Did I mention how great it was??
Mal and Bob, Thanks for the rides to and from the club.
Peter
Ditto on the great time. MAL and Gary, you are a credit to your organization. Fantastic job, really appreciate your instruction, safety checks & patience with the mixture of experience levels. Improvement over time was startling, am within a few points of Rifleman & will definitely be back! Thanks again for an unforgettable weekend. Great group of folks, enjoyed meeting everyone.
