Title: And now for something completely different...
Post by: SteelThunder on October 15, 2013, 10:02:50 PM
I figure we get a bit tired of only seeing pictures of Appleseed lines on this forum. Here's a compilation of video clips from my Contour "head-cam" from last Sundays 3-Gun match. Enjoy

Appleseed is awesome but this is what I like to do on my other weekends.

Too bad Eeyore wasn't in the first scene. ;D *

*Eeyore is a 55 gallon drum made up like a horse with a saddle. For this stage he was a camel.

Good work!  Reminds me that I really want to get out to one of the LCSC 3-gun events one of these years...   :---

Pretty cool video. Back in the 3rd quarter of the last century when I did 3 gun they didn't have video. Well actually they didn't have guns either. We had to use rocks, knives and big sticks...and it was always in 3 feet of snow uphill. ::)

I need to find a way to mount one of those on my cowboy hat.  Then you'll see some real 4-gun action.

Frontier Cartridge Gunfigher, two hands, two pistols, no waiting...
I may not win, I may not place, but there's gonna be a show!

I need to find some good pictures.  Stay tuned.

Funny - I've always heard it was "uphill both ways" - you must have done it a little different!

Won't the black powder smoke completely obscure any video?

You are right, I'll just film a blank white wall, make bang noises and shake the camera a bit.

Now I have this visual that I can't get out of my brain.  6 running around with a camera on his head going, "pew pew pew."    ;D

In cowboy it's "runing around going, bang - clang, bang - clang, bang - clang"  unless you're one of those gamer types, then it's "pfft - tink"
