Yes, Congrats to Dave for getting his patch! This was the most fun I have ever had at an Appleseed. Rapid AQT is the way to go! There isn't many things that sound better than ringing steel! Thanks to all the instructors for helping out! This was by far the most consistent shooting for me. I couldn't of done it without the instructors staying on me. That is one thing I like about Appleseed, the instructors won't lay off of you just because you shot score, they will continue to correct any mistakes you make. Because of them I finished the day with a 210, 219, and a pair of 224s!

Huzzah!!

I know I'm a bit late to the party on this thread, but WHAT AN AWESOME DAY. Perfect day, perfect fellowship, and almost perfect marksmanship.

Once again, the Sunday AQT grind stretched the limits of both abilities and equipment, but it once again proved to be an invaluable tool to help expose those "opportunities for improvement" that keep us from putting rounds on target. And I agree, the Rapid AQT is one of the most enjoyable drills I have done to date...absolutely worth including in day 2.

@Sly223
The purple rifleman patch was very much appreciated...probably more than you know. While I have to admit that I could only grasp at its' significance from the background you past along, the passion you had while telling us the significance and history spoke volumes. I know every rifleman patch in Appleseed has significance, but I also know that offering this one carried a bit more to you personally and it was my honor to accept this patch as my first. Thank you!

And I agree on the reactive 100yd target, but I think I can up your ante. Nov 10 is doable for me...shoot me a PM for details.

@FLORIDANATIVE - Thanks for the support bro, and thanks for the heads up on the bolt release upgrade. While I didn't go with the outfit you recommended, I just recieved the parts I needed from Midway to do it myself. I hope to see you at upcomming events, but keep improving that skill set or plan to see me pass you by on those AQT scores. You've got it dialed in right now, but I won't let up one inch if you slack off :)
