Dry fire practice was discussed at the Appleseed. After all, how much cheaper ammo can you get? What I started doing during prep time for stages is testing the shift required to move NPOA to the next target. I found that I could get a feel for how much I needed to shift. The grounding lug of an outlet was offered as a good dry fire target. The only problem is this doesn't give you an opportunity to practice shifting NPOA to new targets.
Attached is what I came up with. Scaled to 12 feet, because everyone should have a place where they can hang this on the wall with 12 feet in front of the muzzle. Just print this out on an 8.5x11 letter sheet of paper. Because you are close to the target, sitting and standing would be like shooting in the ground if you post the prone in a position that feels right. Solution? Cut the paper in half and mount the sitting and standing portion higher.
This is a Quick and Dirty version :), so let me know what you think.
Neat!! Printed & on my wall
