As typical for Indiana in July we had heat and humidity in the 90s for the July event at Red Brush Range. But that didn't stop 9 brave souls who came out of their air conditioning for a great weekend of marksmanship and heritage instruction. These brave patriots were not a bunch of complainers, they were not a bunch of couch potatoes, they were here to learn. What a great weekend with a line that was entirely 7th stepped again here in Evansville. O0 We had grandfathers, grand daughters, friends, old soldiers, young ones, father and son, father and daughter, cousins and a lot of new friends.
Everyone showed lots of improvement over the entire weekend in less that great conditions. We had one shooter Johnathan that broke the 210 barrier this weekend. Lots of others showed increases in their scores and we had more than a couple who were getting so close.
I will add some pictures later feel free to add and comment.
I had a great time working with everyone yesterday!
Have to love the humidity of southern Indiana in July though, thankfully, a great IIT brought 50' of canopy and that kept folks in the shade most of the day.
No big surprise Jonathan hopped over 210 today. Congratulations!!!
