Title: Cushon for Taking Out Pins
Post by: Legend on June 20, 2013, 09:07:31 AM
I saw one in a Ruger 10/22 video but can't find it again. It was a round pad used to cushon the removal of pins. Does anyone know what they are called and where to get one?

It is called a bench block. Try Brownells or Midway.

They're nifty, but the vast majority of armorers simply take a chunk of 2x4 and drill a hole in it. You can cut a groove along the axis so that the receiver doesn't rock.
