Now that I am home and rested, I will start this thread.
Once again, I would like to thank the Sherwood/Anderson families for having another reunion at this event. Great to see everyone again. Weather was warm but beautiful. Sadly only one rifleman was born. Please add your experiences.
Saturday started out with cool weather, a slight gust, and high hopes! It proceeded to get warmer until the history lessons became nice breaks from the direct sunlight. The wind decided all weekend that it would cooperate with just a couple times of it getting out of hand. Sunday was the same weather wise, but I spoke to several people that said Sunday was nicer than Saturday.
We had 18 shooters on the line on Saturday. Sunday we also had 18 shooters but some of them were different people. Several kiddos which is always a pleasure to see!! As well a grandma, you go girl!
Only one rifleman, like Colonial Shooter said, but bad habits die hard!!
Tired of hearing "Amanda stop dragging wood!!"
But had a great group of instructors that I can't wait to see again!
P.S. Pictures coming just as soon as Colonial goes and gets the camera... hahaha.

I attended the event in Douglas WY on 15 and 16 June, 2013, and had a great time. If you'd told me that I could shoot as well as I did by Sunday, ON MY BELLY, I'd have told you that you were crazy. But after several hours of instruction, sometimes after being repeated, my scores went up. I've shot from a bench for years, but I never thought I could shoot well in the prone or sitting positions. I wish I'd joined up earlier.
Many thanks to all the instructors for the excellent education. I'll be at Jackson, WY in August, God willing and the creek don't rise.
Just wanted to quote this and add it to the after action report. It just adds a little something when you get feedback from participants.
Pictures YAY!
This is what happens when a three year old gets a hold of your camera!

Hope you get some kicks out of seeing these. P.S. To anyone in these pictures... the answer is no. They are not on facebook. You are welcome!
And a non-fuzzy instructor photo (five states represented here):

I had a great time throughout the week at the IBC/RBC, but working the AS definitely topped it off well. Thanks for all the help from the more senior Appleseeders (of various hat colors). I appreciate it!
And who knew I'd run into a relative (M1BZRK) as well as someone who used to shoot silhouette matches with my dad three states away (rocket)?! It's a small world...

LIKE! (Oh wait we aren't on facebook!)
Thanks for the pics, Hi-oopi & Follow Through and for some excellent food!. Great Instructor Boot Camp & Rifleman Boot Camp & Appleseed. Thanks to all the various "hats" and to the attendees. Great to see familiar faces and to make new friends. Super that Sherwoods and Andersons could join us again. Great folks and steadily improving. Practice, practice, practice.
I had a great time and met some wonderful folks. I look forward to doing something like this again.

Thanks to everyone we had a good turnout and a great weekend of history and marksmanship. In mandatory Wyoming Appleseed fashion, we had wind, hail, rain, and mud over 9 days of instruction and training. Douglas is a great town and the range management more than accommodating. See y'all next time, ya hear? Is the line ready?
:cool2:
Thanks to every one there. Had a good time with old freinds and new.
Thanks once again to all the instructors. I had a blast and will be at the Casper Appleseed in Aug as well. To all the other shooters it was a pleasure to meet all of you.
