Title: Ammo: Local Gun Shops
Post by: scoob on June 04, 2013, 03:01:06 PM
Don't forget to check your small, local gun shops for 22LR.  Find out when the UPS truck shows up, and just check-in every so often.  The gun shop owners here are saying the ammo is starting to filter in every couple days or so, about 10-15 bricks at a time.  It sells out rather fast, but you have a better chance of nabbing some without fighting the crowds at the big-box sporting goods stores or Mallwart.  I try to support the local gun shops over online and big box retailers, and it's paying off in small doses.  I'm just sayin'.   ;)

We need to get everyone together and stop buying ammo for a while, then the stores will get the idea that they have to stop gouging us and things will go back to normal. Of course I need to get a few thousand more rounds first, but everyone else should hold off for a while. ;)
