Friday evening saw a major swampin' of VA but it didn't stop our shooters from showing up for a fantastic weather day on Saturday morning. Tad windy at times that bounced the targets around, but awesome none the less. New and return folks alike tried their best to make the grade for that 210. Four folks managed on Sat.. Sunday we had only about a third as many shooters. A few came so, so close. But new gear familiarity and the like just kept that prize- just out of reach.
Remembering the events on April 19 in detail, past and present touched all of us.
For all who came-keep practicing(dryfire and the range whenever possible). Get involved with 'our' nation. Get back to see us ASAP- and by all means tell others and bring folks with ya.

Indeed, a great weekend. Several family groups, 4 Riflemen, and a new Orange hat for Virginia: JL. Here are some pictures of SgtMace and our Riflemen:
And here is our unfortunate "Redcoat". Our crew of 20 shooters fired 3 volleys and scored 46 hits at 100 yards and all with .22LR
Good time, and great people.
Funny how the weather always gets nice just in time to get to work.
it must be a sign that the big guy likes us!
