Post by: TAZDevil on April 02, 2013, 01:11:19 PM
Wonderful shoot
6 youths and one adult
shot only on Sunday no one attended on Saturday
single day and low attendance due to Easter weekend

weather was moderately windy at 12 mph from 6 o'clock
started out spitting rain ended warm and sunny

students had a very teachable attitude.
2 kids from being "off paper" to 200 yds on afternoon redcoat!
Mark requalified as a Roifleman!
Blake (Mark's brother) shot a 209!  knocking at the door
Nick was also knocking at the door

first shoot in Aiken, an excellent start

Nicely done! Congrats to Mark and some dry fire at home for Blake - a little more and you'll be wearing that fine patch soon (I like the original OD green myself).

I had so hoped to be there. Many thanks to TAZDevil for taking this event on at the last minute. Looking forward to meeting you and the SC cadre this year.

Here's to getting another event on the books with enough shooters so Fred can afford to buy me some gas! Where's Adena!  ^-^ SC has a fearless new state coordinator and I am confident she can get the word out and make it happen.

Huzaaah!

Looks like a great venue and DrJohn tells me the 12 cap was only for initial event. They do have room for 20+ shooters. Huzaaaah!
