this is the only riflemen boot camp that i have found on the west coast and i would really like to go to it but looking for some one to go with. Hopefully there will be .22lr ammo some place so we can shoot for a week. I live in Great falls mt so we could carpool down there and i will pay for the gas seeing as iam in the USAF and would not have to pay for the class. any way hope to hear from someone

I'm a tentative on this - still need to ask my boss if I can get the vacation. Trying to decide whether to do the IBC as well. I would be coming from Idaho Falls.

If you are going to attend the RBC, it would be wise to attend the IBC, as part of the RBC experience.
The 3 events over 9 days are really intended to be experienced as a single event by participants.

The schedule has the IBC and RBC overlapping by one day. How does that work schedule-wise? Is it because they are intended to be integrated? My intent would be to stay through the AS (as an Orange Hat).

Yep, integrated, that's exactly right. And after the IBC and RBC, you'll actually get to help work the AS as an IIT.

Gotcha. I've written my note to remind me at work tomorrow to request the whole batch of dates. :)

The IBC is designed to give IIT's the opportunity to improve their skills and work on their PC's. Sunday they work with the students of the RBC. The following AS gives new IIT's from the RBC students to work with.

Drop me a line if you need more info

Try this:  http://www.douglaskoa.com/
Less than $100 for the whole 9 days.

I figure that's probably the best bet, if some of us coordinate (same price for 1 person as for 4 - $194.40 when the nights are added on the 7th and 16th due to travel time). Anything cheaper is over 20 miles away and not reservable.

Last year at the Douglas boot camp, attendees camped at the range.
The weather was hot and dry, The wind blew my tent apart, it hailed at 5 AM. I was only there for two days.
Great time, good folks, come prepared for the same conditons that Great Falls, and Idaho Falls, get in June.

Apparently this is for a past year and they haven't updated their website. A different set of hot deals is listed on the reservation site. http://koa.com/campgrounds/douglas/hot-deals/ :(

This is still an option, gives time to get to know your fellow instructors in a relaxed camp fire type situation.

OK, I'm officially a "go" with approved vacation time!  ^:)^
I'll work on registering for the IBC and RBC later this week. I'll be staying for the AS as an IIT.

We've less than two weeks to go! I'm definitely looking forward to it.

If anybody will be passing through SE Idaho or western Wyoming, PM me about carpooling if you're interested. I'm fine with driving the whole way, but it's more enjoyable with others. I'm going for the full IBC/RBC/AS series, so driving over on the Friday prior and returning the Monday following.

I'm camping at the range. Any special considerations other than no running water (I have three 5-gallon jugs and a shower for that, I'm assuming we can refill somewhere in town)?
