Title: New Washington Volunteers - Huzzah!
Post by: George Hacker on March 04, 2013, 03:58:36 PM
Washington State has a few new Appleseed volunteers.  Let's welcome them to the corps! ..:.. ..:..

First we have "Vicar".  He was offered and took an orange hat at the Eagle Creek, Oregon shoot in early February.  He put it to good use a couple weeks later at the Ariel, Washington shoot.

"Flipper" is a young girl who was offered and took an orange hat at Eagle Creek as well.  She helped with the Ariel shoot and is a storyteller.  She already told the story of Samuel Whittemore.

On the eastern edge of the state we had a young couple step forward to volunteer.  "baldsincebirth" was offered and took an orange hat at the shoot in Lewiston, Idaho and he put his talents to use on Sunday afternoon.  His wife, "armed and hormonal", decided to help the cause by becoming an Applecore volunteer and taking a blue hat.

I have been blessed to work with all four of these new volunteers and they are a great asset to the program. ^:)^  Huzzah!
