Then again, you should be spending your money donating to the NRA-ILA, SAF and writing letters ~~:) :cool2:

Been looking at the Thermold (yeah I know...therm melts) M1a mags. They are available and pretty cheap comparatively. I bought a bunch of the 10 and 20 round US made Thermold AR mags last year (they were very cheap then) and they have worked very well in my ARs. Anyway, sportsmanguide had the M1a mags 3 for $45 and I had a $20 off coupon so I ordered some. That deal is over but they still have them for around $16-17 ea. Haven't got them yet, figure they would make good range mags.
If anyone is frantically looking for a battle rifle, LRB Arms site says they still have M1As in stock. They are the only company that hammer forges their receivers nowadays, and are known for top of the line quality. Their rifles start at about $2500, but there is no better rifle to buy in my opinion. It is definitely a bargain compared to the basic AR-15s that have been selling for about the same price. So there you go, a source for M1As and mags...what more could a Rifleman ask for.
