Saw one of the newer ones in january of last year.  Shot one back in october.  Super fast action, great trigger, great lock time, great stock.  expensive.

Yeah, paying centerfire boltie prices is a bit of a turn off.
The toggle bolt intrigues me though and a T-bolt seems easier to get and feed of than a K-31.

I do need a blot action LTR though.

Check out the CZ.  About 200 less than the t-bolt last I checked.

The Mossberg 801I have is very accurate and I like the Mossberg magazines much better than the Savage Mark II magazines.

You can go even cheaper and and get Marlin's XT.  Exceptional barrel, very good trigger, magazine fed.

shot the T-bolt in .22 LR

loved it, accurate, fast, beautiful wood, fantastic bluing, excellent trigger

reminded me of a Swiss K-31, and about as finely made

downside:  expensive, the funky rotary mags are pricey also

less expensive alternatives:  CZ 452/3 models, tack drivers and pretty, expensive mags

Savage Mk 2, as accurate as the others, 1/2 the price of the CZ, mags are $14, available in stainless/bull barrel versions,  utilitarian, not sexy

you can shoot an RM score w/ all of them

The Savages do have my attention.
I need to make it up to Scheels and shoulder as many as I can and cycle a few bolts.
