I bought my 10/22 today got a good deal on a like new used firearm. Im want to set up my Ruger somewhat close to a AK variant because that's what i use. Id like to get it similar length of pull and sights. I know it will never be an AK or AK 22 that they want lots of bills for. Anyone know of open type sights that can be put on 10/22 that are adjustable like the tech sights. I found a stock that i think i could put a popsicle stick grip. I would also want to use a web sling, if i cant do it ill just throw a set of tech sights on and use this stock. I at least want it kind of close but not going crazy.

Thanks
The down side of the one you are looking at is they are more difficult to take down for cleaning and can put odd torques on the barrel hurting accuracy. You can't use the rail for sights, POI changes all over the place. I'd go with the Blackhawk Axiom, we have one and are so impressed we'll be putting them on all our 10-22's....O.L.

That is perfect i just wish they made tech sights non aperture.
Thanks for the info i will order one when funds permit.
Oladcock,
What do you like about the Axiom stock? I shot a friend's 10-22 with a similar stock at an AS a couple of weeks ago. My friend did not remember what brand it was, but it looked very similar to the Axiom. The stock worked fine in the standing and sitting positions, but we were having issues with sight alignment in the prone. I noted I had to roll my head up onto the stock to get proper sight alignment. Sight alignment was impossible to achieve from a natural, relaxed position. I'm curious if you've noted similar with the Axiom, as I realize not all similar looking stocks are created equally.
Daniel,
I've got iron sights from Tech Sights and from True Shot Technologies. Both have advantages and disadvantages. If you are after an AK style sight, the True Shot front sight will be more similar. The rear sight of either will not be similar, but you could modify the True Shot rear if you really want a notch instead of a peep.
Another option would be to put Tech Sights on both the 10-22 and the AK.

With any stock you are going to have "fit" issues. One low enough for irons will be way too low for a scope and vice versa, especially when folks put high rings on the scope. Nothings perfect that will work with everyone with any and all sights. Improvise, adapt, and overcome, do what you have to do for it to fit "you". Getting the right combination may not be easy, especially when one starts out seeking a "cosmetic" result........O.L.
Im not looking for cosmetic attributes and I may not mess with it any more. i will probably get a pistol grip stock. I'm looking at this as a training aide.
If you want adaptabailty for a variety of shooters I like the ATI stock.

Comes with standard sling studs already in it. A piece to angle the but down for Irons or an adj cheek piece to raise it for a scope. I put one on each of my girls 10/22.
I did finally do a custom fit wood stock for my 9 year old.
I'm a little late to the dance, but you might take a look at Tory Industries' 10/22 stocks. They are a bit pricy though.

lol
I don't think that looks anything like an ak!
I would suggest you just buy a gig ak22....
it will likely be cheaper than the cost of frankencloning the 10/22, and you will never really get the same ak feel, or be able to do mag changes the same, or work the safety, have the same site picture, or height over bore, etc. etc.
I'm not advocating selling the 10/22 though - it's a must have. I don't have one but I really like the M1 carbine AR stock - that actually looks a nd works pretty good
