First off, hats off and a hardy thanks to Izaak Walton League Lynchburg for granting our program a weekend at the range. Great facility and members. Really looking forward to turning out there again next season.
The weather was fantastic for Dec., even with the threat of rain off and on each day.
And for our shooters-what an effort. 9 on Sat., and 10 on Sun turned out an amazing 5 new Rifleman. And if the rain had not run everyone off the range mid Sunday evening I'm sure we would have had 1 more.
Have you ever watched a 13 year old get off all their rounds in the rapid fire stages with a bolt gun? Amazing- what a machine. In that Rifleman's Bubble and doing her thing.
Weekends like this really energize the VA corp. Awesome job guys, and thank you a million.
