Hello guys and gals. I'm new to the apple seed movement and I'm looking forward to my first shoot. However, when will the 2013 schedule be up? I'm working straight through till jan so I'm getting some time off and want to schedule my class. Any info would be great thanks..
Scott
Hi Scott,
If you will let me know which location you have in mind, I can give you the schedule for that location, if it has been finalized. I have most of the Florida locations booked with only a couple still out. The RWVA schedule for 2013--the official schedule where you can sign up for a shoot--is still pending but I have been told that it will published "soon". Bruce
I'm interested in the Clermont shoots since they are the closest ones to me. And thanks very much for the help.

I am still awaiting the schedule for Clermont, and Hollywood. There will very likely be more events scheduled for Bunnell and Orlando. Rocky Creek Ranch has been disappointing for regular Appleseeds but we should have at least one Rifleman Boot Camp and a known distance clinic there during the year. Fort White has a private AS in March and that will likely lead to additional AS events which are open to the general public. If you have contact with a range--or own a suitable range-- and want to have an Appleseed, let me know and we will set it up.
Hear ye, hear ye! The 2013 is being posted and you can now sign up students and instructors. There will be more shoots added in the coming days and weeks. Lots of cool things in the works so stay tuned.
Any word on a KD Clinic in 2013? I'm planning on getting an adequate Centerfire rifle perhaps in April or May and looking forward to honing my skills at distance! **) :---
Don't know about the KDC. OK, FL instructors, here is your chance to chime in on when you would like a KDC. If we can get a general consensus of how many and when, we can make it happen.
I'm definitely down for it! As for preferred dates, I'll have to get back on that.
I am also interested in a KDC. Once the date and location are set then I will be able to determine if I am able to attend.

Make the KDC in the winter months - Jan, Feb, maybe even March. After that, camping isn't nearly as pleasant. Have it at Rocky Creek Ranch pronto!!!
Late march works for me, early march (8-10) is bad...maybe the following weekend (March 16-17)???
Currently there is no shoot scheduled on March 23-24. February looks pretty full. A big factor will be range availability at a range suitable. Oh yeah, and a shoot boss capable of running the event.
FWIW, March 23-24 would probably work for me.
march is good, if that falls through, i vote december O0
KDC? Count me in. I do something silly every March that takes up most of month, but open near end. RCR is tops for KDC. Next best is in N GA.

Any more thoughts on getting a boot camp in FL this year?
So far, the only RBC I am signed up to work is in NC in late August, but hey, come up with a venue, date and some students and I'll go about anywhere. ^-^

There was an event held in silver springs a couple of years ago. Does anyone know the name of the property owner? If it is who I think it is, I can get us a shoot there, and maybe even the KDC.

Justin Gwinn at the Gwinn Farm.
I was just at the gwinn's for a bon fire. I went to high school with his sons. They invited us to do another event there. They have enough clear space to do 500 yards.
say what? ..:..
sweet, going to sign up as a shooter for this one >:D
Quinn's place is a great site. I'd show up!
Baring conflicts with shoots at the new range, I'll be up for a KDC.
Was just speaking to MrPete - we need a KDC for us weary instructors to refresh our long range skills. :---
I'll be there!
