There is a nice sized group of ladies who have signed up to put aside the home duties for the weekend and spend time improving their marksmanship skills, getting reaquainted with their heritage, and connecting with other women. If you know a lady or female youth that would like to join us please pass the word. The New Philly range is great! With a covered shoting line, clubhouse facilities, and shelter.
Do you even accept "border-raiders"? >:D
Boarder raiders always welcome O0
My friend Julie and a daughter are going to be there, with a neighbor and her daughter.
I work all weekend, and I am so not happy to miss this!
Registration is up to 12 Ladies!
New Philly is BEAUTIFUL in the fall. The leaves at peak color, and the smell of gun powder in the morning will be great way to spend the weekend!
Enjoy it ladies - there is more space on the covered line. Sign up!

That has been the plan all along. We can't wait to join the ranks of the other volunteers and begin assisting others! Thank you to everyone who helped out in the Appleseeds we attended, you were all a great inspiration.

Thanks! I am Gabe C's wife, Ashley. :) We are thrilled to join Project Appleseed! I have never shot a rifle before this, and am glad that I learned properly, amazing how it all comes once you learn to trust your NPOA. :) Thanks to everyone who has taught me and will continue to teach me. I look forward to getting to know all of you better. :)
I should clarify that I have never shot a rifle before Appleseed. :) I did not mean that yesterday was my first time shooting a rifle. :D
Thanks to all who made this weekend so successful! Your incredible patience with me and encouragement for my daughter was so appreciated. Even with all my frustrating moments my scores shot up 77 points from day 1 to day 2 and we were both pleased to leave with Sharpshooter qualifications.
Looking forward to more Appleseeds with our family!
Had a FANTASTIC time this past weekend! It was a small group but an awesome group. Thanks to Dangerous D, Betsy, Pink-E and of course Ratchett for a wonderful experience.
This is my second Appleseed (first LadySeed) and still no patch. I was close though - the majority of my AQT scores were between 188 and 199. I will say it again...maybe next time!
I did hit a golf ball off of a pop can from the standing position - that was pretty amazing! ^:)^ Beth, Kelly and I made a great team!!
And I also fell from a standing position, leaning against a post, while listening to Ratchett tell a story...the joke was I fell asleep, lol, but that was not the case :-[ :-[ Leg gave out on me and I couldn't catch my balance. It was pretty funny and no injuries involved.
I can't wait to go again and pretty bummed the cold weather is so close - I don't enjoy the Cleveland Winter weather. I may be able to catch one in November. I will be keeping my eyes open for the 2013 schedule!!
