Was a great weekend to be an American. the folks that showed up too AS in Palm Bay are some of the finest patriots
one could meet. Palm Bay is truly blessed to have citizens of this caliber. After some equipment malfunctions and some sling issues. we got rolling with our course of instruction. Only to be shut down by torrential Rains, thunder and lightning.

Sunday however was another story. over half the students returned. We managed to cover all the instruction and squeeze out a few AQT's. thees fine Patriots drank from the Fire Hose and begged for more. A Rifleman was revealed (way to go Heidi) and another on the bubble (good job Zamp). All who attended showed Outstanding Improvement. Little Rose showed the most improvement of all and set a high standard being the first to have her mags prepped and standing behind her mat first for EVERY  course of fire. Rose made her Rifle safe after each course of fire and not once did she hear (WHOOOO'S RIFLE IS THIS) Good job rose.

P.s. Thanks to Tom's wife Belinda for a fine instructors dinner. The Best one I have attended so far.
And Rick managed to keep his but got a flat and yes the spare was flat also

When the rain is so heavy that you can't see, and there's no shelter because it's blowing horizontally, and a student's car is stuck in eight inches of water, there's only one thing to be done: Improvise, adapt and overcome.

What an assume event, the best one yet...despite all the rain the instructors taught an excellent program.  Great patriotic history, with the passion of true American Patriots you all earned a great big OOH RA.....   Thanks, for all your dedication and all you have taught me.  Before the AS I used to think I could shoot, now I'm well on my way to becoming a real rifleman. Next event get ready cause I'll be back.
Had a blast, Thanks to all for a great weekend.
Hazahhhhhh...............

James and Jacques here. It was great and we will be back, probably for the Myaka Appleseed on the 1st week-end of December.
That gives us time to get the correct slings, fix a couple of hardware issues and train a little bit.
And the weather should be better.
Thanks again to all the instructors.

PS for SLY223: we ordered that M1!

I was glad to be here at my family's first Appleseed.  Wish we could have scored rifleman.  Thanks Heidi
