Title: Muster Drum - Wilmington, Ohio Sep. 29/30, 2012
Post by: slim on September 24, 2012, 11:56:13 PM
Appleseed Volunteers, I need your help!  :sos:

We have 30+ shooters  :--- signed up for this event.  ^:)^ I have the assistance of 3.5 motivated Instructors in Training but I need your help too!  ~~:) Please come on out and give us a hand.

The CCFSA is a wonderful place to Appleseed. Camping is available and hot chow will be served both days. We're going to sit out by the fire on Saturday night. Will you join us?

PM me and/or Instructor Scheduling if you're interested. Thanks, and I hope to see you there.

3 1/2 instructors to help out?  I'm taking a wild guess and assuming that I'm the 1/2 of an instructor?   ;D

There he goes again under estimating the women---LOL!

Slim, planning on rolling in if Zanesville is canceled. Have given folks the opportunity to sign up between now and midnight Thursday before canceling.

I don't know how long the NRA Instructor Rifle Course is going to take. If I can I will drive down and help. PM me a phone number and I will let you know as soon as I can. (I should know Friday night.)

If Zanesville isn't canceled, then I will go there to help. Everything is still dependent on the course I am taking.

Huzzah! So glad to hear we have some border raiders helping out.

Slow2Speak - I guess it's high time we actually WORK an event together. Hanging out socially, crashing weddings, showing folks how to bust birds and shoot distance is all part of being a Rifleman (well, maybe not the bustin birds part) but I heard something about working events too.

Your pedigree is outstanding. Time to put it to good use.

Barbie - If you're 1/2 an instructor that'd make me almost 2 full instructors. (By weight, anyway.) I've seen you do the Six Steps before you were even a Rifleman. I'm guessing your IMC is just as good. Wanna give it a try?

Ratchett - You know I don't underestimate women. I KNOW they always outshoot me!

Edheler (and Unbridled_Liberty) - I hope to see you guys this weekend but go where the mission takes you.

Thanks again to all you folks for stepping up. See you soon!

Folks, if you can spare the 1/2 an instructor, I may have to back out.  I know we're up to Slim + 3 oh's on IS, plus Slow2Speak is gonna help I saw... so for sure 4 OH's + Slim diggity, plus whoever else rolls in...

Just got word my other half is returning from his deployment to Afghanistan & I gotta be at CVG tomorrow night @ 1900 to pick him up   ^:)^     (and yes, he's going to be gettin' involved with AS also)

(I'll make it up to ya'll with some fine cookin'  ;) )

Well I say you welcome that other half back with a big old Appleseed thank you and job well done.  Make sure you start with some "fine cookin" for the returning warrior and then make his favorite meal.  See you both on the AS trail later this year or next.  Again, our thanks for his service.   Corvette
