The final AS event of the year at this great venue...the wind again forced the canopy to come down shortly after it was put up. Here's some photos...more commentary and pics to follow.....
Enjoyed the weekend.... lots of great first time shooters. Thanks to John who brought his sons and daughters from Iowa for Saturday. Hope to see you all again soon.
Congrads to Owen and Brian on their rifleman patches. Good job! Owen's brother Kody and Grandfather Kevin(who was a Sunday walk on) where knocking on the door.
Deb great job on your first AS as a AC volunteer...those shooters where rolling in on Saturday morning. And thanks for driving the last 50 miles...I was well done $$-0
Thanks to follow IIT Kory for the help on Saturday and Alex always a pleasure to work a shoot with you.
And now some more pics.....
Here's the pics I have left. Sorry had a camera malfunction and lost alot of them....
What a great turn out last weekend! Eighteen attendees is a new record at that range, and almost every one of them was new to Appleseed. As always I was more than pleased with the quality of the attendees. Great attitudes, very teachable attitude, easily overcoming range limitations, and the willingness to keep going late into the afternoon. Thanks to Kory for spreading the word at the gun show a few weeks before, and showing up to work the line, always a big help. Thanks to Big Sioux Rifle and Pistol Club for continuing their support of Appleseed. Thanks to the folks in Minnesota for loaning me Deb and Mike for the weekend. Mike is a very solid IIT who will make a great Red Hat for Minnesota and the surrounding areas. A special thanks to Deb for being a great Blue Hat. Taking on all of the administrative stuff made it a much easier Saturday morning for me. Also thanks for clearing a portion of the line. Well my time online is up, I hope to write some more if I get time this weekend. Either way this was a great event, thank you to everyone involved.
Alex
Had a great time last weekend in Sioux Falls. What a great bunch of people! 1st time as a Blue Hat and enjoyed it very much. Alex, I will be more organized next time O0
It doesn't matter how many AS I attend, I always learn something each time, listening to the instructors. Had a camera malfunction. :wb: I did learn to always save your pics on your computer, BEFORE you delete them from your camera.
Everyone seemed to be having fun and learning at the same time. Congrats to Owen and Brian on getting their Rifleman's Patch! Good Job!
Hope to see you on the trail.
