FYI:
Yesterday I purchased an unopened bag of 50 new 6.5x55 Winchester brass from a local reloading store. I was shocked to find that 22 out of 50 had serious primer flash hole problems: the hole could be WAY off center, chipped/malformed holes, or holes that looked (by naked eye) too big.
The retailer will take them back, so I won't be out anything, it is just really odd/surprising that this bag made it through QC.
I guess. I've reloaded for over 30 years, used to shoot 1 MOA out of my M1 and never touched a primer hole in all that time.
