The southwest corner of Michigan is growing by leaps and bounds. Now we have another Red Hat to lead the area.

It was my pleasure and honor to give Kris his Red Hat. He was kind enough to make it a no-brainer, as I threw him under the bus prodigiously on Saturday. I'll simply paraphrase Superheat:

Seriously, thanks to everyone in this program and especially the Michigan cadre. I'm honored to be a part of this organization and hope you realize the impact you make in the lives of the shooters and the volunteers. I'm truly amazed at how I truly feel very close to the people in this group. You are all very special.

I'm especially honored to have earned the Red Hat on Memorial Day weekend. While my contribution pales in comparison to those that this holiday commemorates, I hope I can do just a little bit to push the ball forward.
